HLR is seeking an
experienced CADD Technician to work in our Springfield, Illinois office.
This position is responsible
for the preparation and coordination of detailed structure and roadway design
drawings using computer aided drafting and design (CADD) systems. You will be
involved in all phases of drafting from preliminary reports and planning
through the final design. Occasional field work may be required.
Projects typically include
transportation related: structure inspections, survey plotting, bridge condition
& hydraulic reports, project reports and detailed structure and roadway
design plan development.
Responsibilities include
operation of CADD Microstation/V8 and Geopak systems in the development of the projects described
above.
Candidates will preferably
have an associate's degree in engineering or architecture technology and 2-10 years experience.

| Water/Wastewater Engineer |

HLR is currently seeking a Senior Engineer to develop and lead a water/wastewater team in northern Illinois.
Sound technical knowledge in water and wastewater is required, along with strong project management skills. Business development experience is essential.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering at an ABET-accredited school
- PE license in Illinois
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience
- Water system modeling, treatment,distribution, and elevated storage design
- Wastewater collection and treatment, pump stations and process design
- Ability to obtain and manage water/wastewater projects with principal responsibility for budget, schedule, quality, and client management
