| Water/Wastewater Engineer |

HLR is currently seeking a Senior Engineer to develop and lead a water/wastewater team in northern Illinois.
Sound technical knowledge in water and wastewater is required, along with strong project management skills. Business development experience is essential.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering at an ABET-accredited school
- PE license in Illinois
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience
- Water system modeling, treatment,distribution, and elevated storage design
- Wastewater collection and treatment, pump stations and process design
- Ability to obtain and manage water/wastewater projects with principal responsibility for budget, schedule, quality, and client management

| Structural Engineers - Bridges |

HLR has immediate openings for full time Structural Engineers in our Elgin and Springfield offices. Positions are available at both senior management level and at project engineer level.
HLR focuses on serving local communities and government agencies throughout Illinois. As a member of our staff, your work will include bridge inspections and planning, designing, and analyzing bridges, culverts, and retaining walls.
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering with a structural major at an ABET-accredited school. A Masters Degree is a plus.
- SE license required for senior level positions.
- EI required and PE preferred for project level positions.
- Minimum of three years of professional experience.
- NBIS bridge inspection experience desirable.
- Must be eligible to work in the US on a permanent basis.
- Additional qualifications are required for senior level positions.
